On 7 March 2024, SSE plc raised Connection and Use of System Code (CUSC) Modification Proposal CMP432: Improve “Locational Onshore Security Factor” for TNUoS Wider Tariffs. The proposed modification seeks to improve the cost reflectivity of the “Locational Onshore Security Factor” used in calculating Wider TNUoS tariffs, in order for charges to better reflect the way Transmission Owners plan for a secure future network based on the Security and Quality of Supply Standard requirements.

On 17 December 2024, the Proposer requested that the Proposal be treated as urgent based on Ofgem’s Urgency criteria. We have granted this request.
