Updates to VCMA project eligibility criteria

On 11 November 2024, we consulted on making changes to the Vulnerability and Carbon Monoxide Allowance (VCMA) Governance Document. These changes included widening the eligibility for vulnerable consumers for projects around the servicing, repair and replacement of essential gas appliances.
Our decision
We have decided to update the eligibility criteria for VCMA projects in our Governance Document. This is for the servicing, repair and replacement of essential gas appliances, allowing the gas distribution networks to act faster in supporting vulnerable consumers.
