Consultation on the first stage assessment of NGET’s MSIP re-opener applications

Share the page

We are consulting on the needs case, optioneering of the chosen design and timing for the Leiston and Pathfinder Medium Sized Investment Project (MSIP) Projects proposed by National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) under their MSIP reopener submission in January 2023. The MSIP licence condition provides for companies to make reopener submissions during the RIIO-2 price control period for projects that meet certain conditions and cost less than £100m. NGET considers that the projects meet criteria SpC 3.14.6 (f) of the licence condition.
