Notice under section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 of the grant of an electricity generation licence
The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) hereby gives notice pursuant to section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) that on 21 March 2024 an electricity generation licence was granted under section 6(1)(a) of the Act to Buchan Offshore Wind Limited (company number SC719636) whose registered office is situated at Suite 3B, 58 Waterloo Street, Glasgow, G2 7DA, United Kingdom, authorising it to generate electricity in the area specified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of giving a supply to any premises or enabling a supply to be so given.
