We are consulting on new regulatory instructions and guidance (RIGs) for the electricity distribution networks (DNOs). The RIGs are the main way we get information from the DNOs.

This notice fulfils our obligation under Part C of Standard Condition 46 (Regulatory Instructions and Guidance) of the electricity distribution licence.

Please let us know, within 28 days, if you have any comments on the proposal. We will consider any comments made before issuing a direction in June which will bring the RIGs into effect. The RIGs will apply from 1 April 2023.
