Notice proposing modifications to Annex G - Connections of the Regulatory Instructions and Guidance for RIIO-ED2

We propose to make changes to Annex G - Connections of the Electricity Distribution Regulatory Instructions and Guidance (RIGs) to come into effect in October 2023. These proposed modifications are made for the purpose of incorporating amendments to the Electricity (Connection Standards of Performance) Regulations 2015 which come into effect on 1 October 2023, and to extend its effects from contestable demand connection services to non-contestable demand connection services as well as distributed generation connection services.

This notice proposes changes to Version 1.0 of Annex G Connections of the RIGs for RIIO-ED2 published on 19 June 2023.

This notice fulfils our obligation under Part C of Standard Condition 46 (Regulatory Instructions and Guidance) of the electricity distribution licence.
