Decision on modifications to the ESO Regulatory Instructions and Guidance, Regulatory Reporting Pack, and Price Control Financial Model Guidance for RIIO-2

On 30 June 2023, the Authority issued a Notice proposing modifications to the RIIO-2 RIGs, the RRPs and the PCFM Guidance for Gas and Electricity Transmission networks, Gas Distribution networks and the Electricity System Operator.
We are now publishing the modified versions of the RIIO-2 RIGs, RRPs and PCFM Guidance, following the receipt of stakeholder feedback on the Notice.
These modifications are made for the purpose of aligning the RIGs, RRPs and PCFM Guidance with the National Grid Electricity System Operator Limited Electricity Transmission Statutory Licence Consultation. We outline these modifications in our Decision Notice.
The modifications will take effect from 11 August 2023. The PCFM Guidance and RIGs documents are tracked to show the location of modifications relative to previously published versions.
Modifications to the RRP are logged in the ‘Changes Log’ sheet. Please note any modifications to the RRP implemented as a result of the response to the consultation are noted in the Issue Log, published alongside the Decision Notice.
