We are consulting on our minded-to decision on a proposed change to the BSUoS regime. CMP361 proposes to change the way in which BSUoS charges are collected from liable parties. Currently, BSUoS charges change every half-hour. CMP361 proposes to fix BSUoS charges at a certain level. That level would be set and published in advance, and would be in place for a fixed period of time, until the subsequent price level would come into effect. These changes would come into effect in April 2023. The consultation closes on 19 October 2022.
