This guidance is an associated document related to the National Energy System Operator’s (NESO) licences and conditions. It outlines:
- the process for producing the methodology and future energy pathways
- how we expect NESO to engage and collaborate with stakeholders
- our involvement in the development of the methodology
We have issued this guidance to NESO under licence conditions C15 of the Electricity System Operator Licence and C10 of the Gas System Planner Licence.
This guidance was consulted on in August 2024. See our decision, notice of direction and tracked changes published with the online consultation.
