As part of the RIIO-2 price control, the Electricity System Operator (ESO) will need to submit a second Business Plan for its second Business Plan period, commencing on 1 April 2023. The IT Guidance for the ESO Business Plan Guidance aims to provide an update on the IT information that should be included in the Business Plan. 

We have published our decision on the content of the IT Guidance for the ESO Business Plan Guidance in accordance with Special Condition 4.3 (Electricity System Operator Reporting and Incentive Arrangements) of the ESO's licence.

The IT Guidance for the ESO's Business Plan Guidance will go live from 15 December 2021.
