This document contains our statutory consultation on consequential amendments to Standard Licence Conditions 1.3 and 20.5A in the Electricity Supply Licence, and 1.2 and 20.6A in the Gas Supply Licence, as a follow-on from our Non-Domestic Market Review Decision.
To implement our Decision as intended and achieve the policy intent, we need to make technical Standard Licence Condition (SLC) changes, which were not proposed by us nor identified by stakeholders during our statutory consultation. These are small changes to the supply licences that involve updating two defined terms and then adding in a clarifying phrase to an existing supply licence condition, to account for the change in one of the defined terms. This document explains what the supply licence condition changes are and why they are needed and seeks views on the proposed drafting changes.
We invite stakeholders to respond to the drafting changes by 27 June 2024.
