Proposed changes to Request for Information to monitor requirements for derogated renewable standard variable tariffs

Introduction of annual monitoring requirements for derogated renewable standard variable tariffs, from the default tariff cap

Share the page

We are requesting feedback on the draft Request for Information (RFI) from suppliers who currently have a derogation from the default tariff cap by 9 October 2024.

We introduced annual RFIs in order to monitor compliance of all suppliers that have been granted a derogation from the default tariff cap for particular tariffs. It collects quantitative and qualitative information on suppliers’ total and renewable costs. The final RFI will apply to all existing derogations for the preceding year (1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024).
