Consumer First Panel - attitudes towards the current energy market and price cap

This wave of the Consumer First Panel aimed to understand their experiences of the current energy market. We also wanted to hear about their knowledge of and attitudes towards the price cap. Fieldwork was undertaken in January 2022.
The objectives for this qualitative research included understanding:
- Panellists' perceptions and experiences of the energy market at that point,
- Their current and future engagement in the market,
- Views of the price cap and potential future changes.
