This model is used to calculate the amount of money network companies can collect under the RIIO-2 price control for the period 1 April 1 2021 to 31 March 2026.

Ofgem is required to update and publish the model annually as part of the Annual Iteration Process (AIP), under Part D of the electricity transmission special condition 8.1. We name these ‘GD2 PCFM for AIP 202X’ for each respective year.
Part C of special condition 8.1 provides for Ofgem to make modifications to the GD2 PCFM. These modifications are published during each regulatory year and are shown in the subsidiary documents list with the suffixes ‘C01,’ ‘C02,’ and so on.
The version of the PCFM published following an AIP is titled ‘GD2 PCFM November 202X’ until regulatory year 2022. Starting from regulatory year 2023, the version of the PCFM published following an AIP is titled ‘GD2 PCFM AIP 202X’.
